Essence Long Lasting Lipstick

Price:4.10$ from Priceline & Target
I bought it during Priceline 40% off makeup sale and it cost me around 2.50$. A decent variety of colours are available in this lipstick which is suitable for all skin tones. According to Essence:
"The lipsticks provide your lips with intensive colour for several hours without drying them out. The light, creamy formula feels pleasant and covers your lips in a range of irresistible shades. You're sure to find whatever you're looking for - from bright pink to intensive red and chilled-out berry to subtle nude shades."

The lipstick comes in strong black plastic packing which is so adorable. It has creamy texture and glides smoothly on my lips. It is highly pigmented and shows very good colour on my naturally pigmented lips. It feels very moisturizing on my lip and leave them soft and plump. It does not settle into the lines and does not bleed. It has decent staying power, last for more than 4 hours and leave pretty stain while disappearing. I really love this lipstick, it is better than so many expensive brands. I regret why i only pick one lipstick because its so cheap on sale.

I highly recommend it for every one and  for all skin tones.

ModelCo Fat Lash Volumising Black Mascara

Price 20$ Online and from selected retailers
ModelCo is an Australian brand, as I am more interested in Australian brands, luckily I got opportunity to try this mascara and I really love this. ModelCo says "FATLASH is an ultra-volumising and lengthening mascara that makes lashes fuller and thicker. The weightless, smudge-proof formula contains cellulose micro beads and two film formers for optimum length and volume. The unique formula does not dry over time, and won’t flake or clump. Dermatologically tested."

My lashes with out mascara

A closer look with Modelco Fat lash,( with one coat)
ModelCo fat lash mascara comes in chunky pink tube with plastic brush. The mascara wand design is cute and easy to apply on both lower and upper lashes but it may be too big for some one with small eyes.  Its bristles are felt soft and multiple coats of mascara also looks great on my eyelashes but overdo can look heavy .The formula is not so thick and not so wet, just perfect for mascara. The top narrow part of the wind used to apply on corners while the wider part is used to apply on all over lashes to give volume. This mascara made my thin lashes thick and long. It does not clumps, smudge or flacks and last all the day. I use contact lenses and some mascaras irritates my eyes and also cause redness but  this one really work well with my contact lenses with out causing any reaction.

This mascara is easily removed by few splashes of water, you do not need to take it off by make up remover which is an other plus point for me. As being busy mum, it difficult to find time to clean my face two time.

Overall , It is really very good mascara and it makes my lashes pretty, you can see in photos, I highly recomand it for every one. Thanks ModelCo for sending me this valuable freebie. (I received this mascara after completing their 5 minutes survey)

An other Haul

I went on shopping few days back, actually i did not need any thing but I could not resist these pretty deals.

I visited my local chemist warehouse few days back and got a very good bargain at Rimmel Christmas pack. Its normal price is 20$ but it was on 50% off and i paid only 10$ for this pack. At target Ulta3 nail polish was also on 50%off  and they were sold for 1$ but only few pretty colours were left. Fortunately i got these two nail polishes, both are gorgeous colours. Price line had 50% off on Models prefer skin care, I took this cleanser i already have used it, It cost me only 6$. All these goodies cost me 18$, which is very reasonable bargain, as makeup and skin care is so expensive in Australia.
Have you also done some shopping in this festive season? love to know your haul.

Best of Beauty 2013

In 2013, so many beauty products were introduced in the market, it is impossible to buy all of them but I did try some of these new products. I really like some of these product while some disappoint me.
New Beauty products in 2013
I love all of these products which are pictured above
 Make up and Skin care
Make up
Almay CC cream: Lighter than foundation and heavier than BB cream, ideal for everyday look.
Ponds BB cream: One of the best bb cream, much better than Revlon, Garnier, Palmer but only available in one shade.
Essence long lasting lipstick: A high quality lipstick at such a low price, similar to Rimmel kate moss Lipstick but much cheaper and more moisturising.
Essence 2 in 1 eyeliner Black: Easy to use, even if you are new to make up, you can create different looks with this one.
Maybelline MNY eye liner Black (white coloured pencil). This is not a long lasting and smudge proof liner but it is so creamy, easy to apply and does not smudge too much.
Maybelline Dream pure 8 in 1 BB cream. Just tried its sample and love it but I have dry skin and this one is for oily skin.
Simple Eye make up corrector pen: Works very well to remove eyeliner or mascara mistakes,  essential for beginners
Skin care
Neutrogena Natural Fresh cleansing+ makeup remover: Love this cleanser, removes makeup leaving my sensitive skin soft and hydrated.
Innoxa Antiaging and firming facial Serum: 5 star product from Innoxa, it left my skin soft, smooth and hydrated even after few days of use.

Hair care and Body care products

Hair Care
Garnier Miraculous Oil: Multipurpose oil and I use it as serum, it makes my hair soft, silky and manageable with out fizziness.
Clear Hair care:  Shampoo, conditioner and nourishing treatment, all of them worked very well with my dry, damaged hair and problematic scalp
John Frieda Precision foam colour Conditioner: I have colour treated hair and this conditioner makes my hair soft and silky
Body Care
Nivea In shower Body lotion: An innovative product and leave my skin hydrated and soft.
Schick Hydro silk razer: It makes my skin moisturised,it does not feel harsh and removes hair efficiently
Disappointing Products
There are also some products which fail to impress me. I do not say that they are bad but they really  disappoint me.
All these products does not work for me
 Make up
Max Factor Colour Elixir Giant Pen Stick:I have two shades of this lip product, both are sheer and does not last long. This product has nothing to impress.
Essence stay no matte what eye liner pen: This one is hard to sharpen and colour is also not so pigmented. Although it is really long lasting and smudge proof but due to faint colour and sharpening issue, it does not work for me.
L'oreal Nutrilift Gold Anti-Ageing Foundation: It is such a high price drugstore foundation but its packing is the first disappointment. The product is good itself but its coverage is light to medium and it highlight dry patches of my face. May be it worked well with others but being anti aging foundation I was expecting a bit more.
Revlon BB Cream: Again this product is sold at such a high price and this bb cream is similar to garner one, which is much cheaper and often goes on sale. Ponds BB cream, Maybelline dream pure 8 in 1 bb cream and Almay cc cream is much better than that one.
Baby lips Colour: It is slightly pigmented lip balm and the colour looks uneven upon application. Some shades are not visible on medium skin tones, this product is more suitable for fair skin beauties

Boxing Day Haul 2013

On boxing day, I went to Canberra city centre around 8:30, expecting big crowds and huge reduction on sale stuff, but I was wrong. There were few shoppers and few items were 50-60% off. Most of the sale stuff like clothes and shoes were 25-30% off, but still I find some good bargains at skin care and make up.
I bought some of these products on boxing day and some I got 2 days after boxing day.

Priceline had very good sale on a number of products, they had 40% off on skin care. I already have so many skin care products but still I bought Neutrogena extra gentle face wash, Aveeno body lotion, Puretopea Sensitive care moisturiser, Biore Pore strip ( I have red a lot of bad and good things about this product but I just want try this small pack, may be I will never repurchase it),Ego sport Cream spf 30+ (for my husband), Pure therapy lotion( 5$ from clearance bin) and Ego Azclear Lotion. I also needed some make up brushes so I purchased Manicare eye shadow brush (40% off) and Models prefer smudge brush (5$ from clearance bin). All these products cost me around $57.

At Myer, Benefit Primping with the Star kit was on sale and cost me only 30$(normal price 60$). It was such a good bargain as it is sold for 32$ in USA.
After boxing day on 29th December, I went to Westfield Woden to do some groceries. I did not have any plan to buy any thing but when I just walked into David Jones, I saw Thebalm Voyage palette there. (As I was interested to buy this but it was out of stock in city centre on boxing day) I just checked its price and it cost 34.95$ (50$normal price) which is such a good bargain as it is valued over 110$.
When I was doing groceries at Coles I bought this bath and body set for only 3.45$, it was on clearance. All these three products have very pleasant smell and I bought it for my personal use.

This is first time I went for boxing day shopping and I really enjoyed shopping here in Australia. I am so excited to try all these products. I hope you like my haul, have you enjoyed shopping after Christmas? I hope you also got some good bargains.
