I want to share two website with you, as I have received these samples through their information. These Australian websites lists all free samples and competitions, you can go to website once or twice a day and check the latest samples.

                                                                   Deluxe Samples

                                                                           Sachet Samples

                                                                         Hair Care Samples
I noticed that hair care companies are more generous as they give good sample size product. Personally I like to use good sample size product because, after using it for some days, I can easily decide to buy it or not. After using some of the Neutrogena samples, I decided to buy some other products and I really impressed with the results. Now my drawer is full of Neutrogena skin care. I have also tried Clear hair shampoo and conditioner and really like them. I bought their complete hair care regime from Priceline. Aveeno body lotion is an other favourite product, which I bought after using their sample. I will review some of these sample soon.

I hope you like this post and it will be helpful for you to get free samples.

Essence Stays No Matter What 24h Waterproof Eyeliner

Essence Stays No Matter What 24h Waterproof Eyeliner

Price: 2.5$ from Priceline,Target

According to Essence

"Party-proof for up to 16 hours! This plastic pencil kajal can be sharpened - and it stays put! The creamy, soft texture offers great coverage and won't smudge. It is also waterproof and lasts all day (and all night)."

                                                                  After applying liner

Even after rubbing it hardly, it does not smudge
When I bought it I was in search of eyeliner that does not smudge and last long. I always prefer to use pencil eyeliner because it can be easily and quickly applied. I bought this eyeliner in Midnight Black. I found that the application of this eyeliner is good not the best, you need to apply it with little more effort. The eyeliner is well pigmented(not super pigmented) and looked beautiful on my eyes. The midnight black is not intense dark striking black colour (which  people with medium skin tone usually prefer to use). It can also be blended easily but quickly after application.

The most important thing about this eyeliner is its staying power. It stays for a long hours on my eyes with out smudging. The only problem with this product is about its sharpening. It is very difficult to sharp and you have to sharp it forcefully but still does not get desired shape of the pencil. It has thin tip when I bought it but when I try to sharp it in same good shape, I feel that its impossible.
I like this eyeliner but due to difficulty in sharpening, it disappoints me, but still good bargain at the price of 2.50$

Positive: Does not smudge, ability to last long.
Negative: Does not give intense dark colour, Difficult to Sharp, Hard to put on.

My Rating: 3/5
Will Repurchase:  No

Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion

Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion

Price: 13$ from pharmacies and supermarkets

This is a fragrance-free, non-greasy lotion contains natural colloidal oatmeal blended with rich emollients and is clinically proven to moisturise for a full 24 hours. In Canberra, winters are very cold and dry, so during winter I had problem of dry itchy skin. It seems suitable for dry and sensitive skin so I decided to give it a try. The moisturizer comes in two types of  packing, tube and pump packing. Both are very good to maintain the stability of ingredients. The texture of the lotion is rich and silky. It absorbed quickly into skin with out leaving greasy residue. It is fragrance free but still smells a bit like oatmeal, which is very light. I used this lotion for several days. I found that it  improved the hydrated of my skin. My skin felt soft and smooth without itchiness. It is a very good body lotion even I used it on my 2 years old daughter and her skin was felt soft and hydrated. I was really impressed with the results and I looked at the ingredients
Active: Dimethicone (1.25%), Other: Oat Kernel Flour, Benzyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Distearyldimonium Chloride, Glycerin, Isopropyl Palmitate, Petrolatum, Sodium Chloride, Water
It does contain silicon and oatmeal. It does not contain any irritant and fragrance. On the label I can read the sentence active naturals. I thought it contain all the natural ingredients but actually the only natural ingredient is oatmeal. Overall , it is a very good body lotion. I will recommend it for every one specially for those who have dry sensitive skin.
I give it 5/5
Purchased: Yes
will buy it again: Yes

Priceline 40% off skin care haul

Priceline 40% off skin care haul = Trilogy  Haul

Priceline is my favourite  place for shopping beauty products. A couple of months ago Price line had 40% off skin care sale. As every thing is expensive in Australia so the same case is with skin care. I checked that prices of skin care products are almost double or triple in Australia as compared to USA and even UK. It is always better to buy and stock beauty products when they are on sale.

Priceline never had such a big sale on skin care so I head to my local store on the first day of sale and buy some skin care products. Trilogy is one of the high end brand and never had such kind of sale at any store in Australia. I bought three products.

  • Trilogy Vital Moisturising Cream    22.80$  (38$ )
  • Trilogy Very Gentle Moisturising Cream   22.80 $ (38)
  • Trilogy Rose hip oil Antioxidants +            18$    (30$)

  • I paid 63.60$ for these three products while if I bought it on normal price, it will cost me 106$, that's too much. I think it was a very good opportunity to try high end brand at good price.

    Trilogy Vital Moisturising Cream

    Very Gentle moisturising Cream

I got 30 ml Trilogy vital moisturising cream with Rosehip oil as free gift :)
I hope you like my shopping. I have already reviewed Vital Moisturising cream on my blog. I will review other products soon.

Nivea Q10 Plus Anti Wrinkle Night Cream

    Price:19.99 from pharmacies and supermarkets.

This cream comes in jar packing,so ingredient can not remain stable and it can also be contaminated. The cream has thick and silky texture similar to Nivea soft cream. The smell of both creams are also same. The cream is rich and small amount is enough for face and neck, while it does not absorb easily. A thin greasy layer can be feel after using it, but it is a night cream so it does not matter. After few days of use, I felt that dry areas of my face were well hydrated but T zone and cheeks were too much greasy. I saw little pimples on my cheeks, then I stopped using it on my oily areas of my face. I just used it on dry areas around mouth and eyes.

I did not feel any difference in my skin after using it for weeks. although I do not have wrinkles but I was expecting well hydrated glowing skin. My skin was still dehydrated and dull even for months of using it on my dry areas of face. I have found that in the ingredients list  there is some irritants like Limonene, Linalool, Geraniol but it does not irritate me because these are in a very small amount

Overall, this cream is OK for me. It is a not pricey but packing can not keep ingredients stable. I can not say that I will recommend it or not, because it depends on personal choices. I do not like jar packing but may be some people find it attractive.

Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick - 16 and 12

Price: 12$ from pharmacies and supermarkets

                                                           Shade: 16             &            12
The lipstick has sleek strong packing unlike Rimmel lasting finish lipstick. The lipsticks are numbered instead of named but there is a very good selection of colour for all skin tones. I bought 16 and 12 numbers,12 was orange shade while 12 is coral pink.

These lipsticks have pleasant smell, they are soft creamy and glides smoothly on my lips. They are highly pigmented and give full coverage with semi matte finish. They are not formulated for dry cracked lips, it is advised to moisturise and exfoliate your lips before using them. If it is applied on dry lips, the pigment settles into the fine line of lips. These lipsticks are formulated very well and even in hot weather, they do not melt.

I think this lipstick are better than Rimmel lasting finish lipsticks. As Kate Moss lipsticks have decent staying power and last 4 hours on my lips (with out having meal) and leave pretty stain upon disappearing.

Overall, I like this lipstick, with this price, its difficult to find good lipstick in Australia. Rimmel also often have special offers, you can easily find it below its RRP. You might like it if you want affordable lipstick with decent staying power and you have normal healthy lips. You might not like it if you have problem of dry cracked lips.

Covergirl + Olay Pressed Powder in 320

    Covergirl + Olay Pressed Powder
    Price:17$ from Priceline and supermarkets

     Heavy swatch and normal swatch.
Covergirl claim about this powder that "Our formula, with built-in smooth-glide serum, adds a touch of brightness to your look without feeling heavy or cakey"

I bought this powder in fair/light shade 320 which was too light for me, but light/medium shade was out of stock. The powder comes in sleek purple packing with puff. Like most of the compacts, the puff was not very good quality one, I use it with my own puff.

The powder is almost fragrance free, it has rough texture, not finely miles. I had to rub the puff on the powder forcefully to get the powder. It looked fine on my skin but a little bit cakey. It emphasised dry patches on my skin but it did not settle into my fine lines and pores. I used it with out foundation and it gave me good coverage ( I do not have too many blemishes). It has light to medium coverage, I also used it over my normal foundation and it did look better over foundation. I used it regularly and my skin did not react badly to this product. (As I have sensitive skin and so many product cause me reaction). It did not clog my pores and did not break me out. It does last up to 5 hours and  I think it can also control oil on your face. I use this powder during summer when my skin is  not dehydrated, during winter it did not work for me.
This powder was OK. You might like it if you have normal, combination or oily skin. You might not like it if you have dry skin and living in cold dry weather.

Max factor Colour Elixir Giant Pen Stick

Price: 10$ from Priceline, big w, Target, Myer selected pharmacies

      Couture Blush and Hot chocolate

I was so excited to try max factor  lip crayons when Priceline introduce this product. I catch the deal buy one get one free at Priceline, so two giant pen sticks cost me 10 $.The looks of Max factor pen sticks are gorgeous. I bought two shades Couture blush and Hot chocolate. The application of giant pen stick is smooth, creamy and it has good moisturising ability. These two shades are not so pigmented but still look good on my lips. The couture blush looked so natural while hot chocolate was just shimmery light brown colour. Couture blush last on my lips longer than hot chocolate. I feel that lasting power of this product depends on the shade. While disappearing, Coutour blush leaves stain on my lips while hot chocolate completely disappeared.  It does not have twist function, you have to buy sharpener for it. I wish it comes with twist function. I was expecting a little more from such a good brand. These giant pen stick are ok not so good not so bad.

I will recommend it for those who want moisturising creamy lipsticks and can easily reapply after few hours.
