December Bellabox 2013

I have subscribed for bellabox last month, I was so excited to receive my first bellabox and it arrive today safely on my door step.

Here is the list what I got

Full Size Products
Simple Kind To Eyes Eye Make Up Corrector pen, $11.99 for 125ml, This product is from November Bellabox, I am not very happy to receive it because if I want this I could subscribed for November box.

ASAP Pure Mineral Lip Pencil, 20$, Its so expensive and I like this product in the bellabox.

Deluxe Sample Size Products
Avene Eluage Firming Gel, 3ml, $34.95 for 15ml , It is a tiny sample
Romy Shampoo & Conidtioner, 15ml each, RRP $25 for 300ml , I already have Romy Shampoo and conditioner which I took from a hotel where I stayed for few days.

Sachet Sample
Eslor Skin care Sachet Pack, 5ml each $ Sachets, RRP $36.95 - $84.50
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Daily Cleansing Gel and Calming Facial Lotion, 5ml each, $9.99 for 150ml for the gel and $12.99 for 100ml for the lotion
Hēbē BODY Detox Body Scrub, 15$ Its size does not mention any where, nor on the product and neither on its website. I do not know that it is full size or sample size.

Limited Edition Bella Box Tote Bag, $19.95 I like this Tote bag.

The total cost of the bag is already over 10$ (which I paid for it).  There is great variation in the contents of its boxes, as I have not get any of the product which they advertise in their December box compaign. There should be at least one full size product that all boxes contain.

Bellabox was doing an excellent work few months back as when I see some previous reviews, It  was an outstanding subscription box . I do not know what happened to Bellabox now, may be change in management, unmanageable increasing number of subscribers or any other issues.

Innoxa Antiaging and firming facial serum

Price: 24.95$ from Priceline, Myer, selected Pharmacies and Innoxa online store

It quickly absorb into my skin without leaving it oily or sticky
Innoxa is an Australian brand and you know that I love to use and review AU brands.  I have won this facial serum in Innoxa face book competition, It arrived in my mail after 5 days of notification which is fairly quick. I tried to find some reviews about this product but I only found one review. Now I am using this serum for few weeks and I want to share my experience with you

Innoxa facial serum comes in pretty pinkish purple bottle with pump, I love its bottle because ingredients and antioxidants will remain stable in this type of packing. This facial serum is transparent and has gel like consistency. It is almost fragrance free and applied smoothly on my face. It absorbed quickly with out leaving my face greasy or tight. I felt soft smooth skin after its application but as I have dry skin so I also applied my normal moisturiser on it at night time. As I have dry sensitive skin and so many skin care products broke me out or flare my eczema so I am a little bit afraid of changing my skin care routine. But I must say that this product made my skin lovely and hydrated without any reaction. Even after few days of use I can see the difference, and after few weeks my skin was so soft and hydrated. I wake up in the morning with lovely skin.
I am so satisfied with this product I just looked at the ingredients and found that it has a number of antioxidants, vitamin A,B,C and firming ingredients. It does not contain any irritant, it also has dimethicone which is a form of silicone but I do not have problem with silicone products. According to Paula Begoun it is a good ingredients for all skin types. At the age of 30, I do not have wrinkles yet so I can not tell you its affects on wrinkles, but I start using anti aging product as prevention and I also recommend using them after the age of  25. Serums are very good in all ages and those who have oily skin should prefer using serums because they are normally light weight and does not make skin oily which means no break outs.

I highly recommend Innoxa Facial serum for every one. Those with dry, normal or mature skin can use it under their normal moisturiser while oily and combination skin girls can use it alone. It can also be used as primer as it made my skin so smooth and make up applied on my skin evenly with out highlighting pores and dry areas.

Maybelline Dream Pure 8 in 1 BB cream and Palmers BB cream review

Maybelline Dream Pure 8 in 1 BB cream  Price:  15.95$ from Priceline, Chemist warehouse, supermarkets , big W and target
Palmers Even tone BB cream  Price: 10$ from Priceline, Chemist warehouse and supermarkets.

Few days before, I got samples of palmers bb cream and maybelline bb cream. As these are sample sachet and not enogh to write a detailed review but I still like to share my experience with both creams.

Plamers bb creams comes in two shade and unfortunatly both are not suitable for my skin tone, light is too light while dark is too dark for me, but I applied light and it looks fine on my light/medium skin tone. It has pleasant smel smililar to ponds bb cream. It does not give too dewy finish but it dry and if you applied too much ,it will give you cacky look. It has light coverage and it also covers redness on my skin. Its is a normal affordable bb cream considering its price but its hard to find your shade.
Maybelline dream bb cream is formulated with salicylic acid, it claims to be suitable for oily and acne pone skin.( Salicylic acid is very good antioxidant)As I have dry skin so I am not interested to buy it. But I must say that its an excellent bb cream from Maybelline. It has skin beneficial ingredient and it is almost fragrance free.  I applied it after using moituriser, light/medium shade was closest to my skin tone. It has creamy, silky and thick texture which is very easy to apply. It gave me medium coverage with flaw less skin( I do not have too many blemishes). Even it blurred open pores on my face. It worked very well for me because i moisturise my skin before application. It last on my face for more than 7 hours.

I really like Maybelline cream and I highly recommend this cream for normal and oily skin girls while combination skin beauties can use it after moisturizing dry areas of their face.

Almay CC cream

Price: 20$ at Priceline
                                                               Swatch in artificial light
                                                                  Swatch in artificial light
                                                               After blending
This year CC creams introduced in Australian Market, I bought Almay  CC cream during its cash back promotion. Almay cc cream is rated one of the best cc cream at beautypedia website. It comes in a grey coloured tube which is easy to use and good for the stability of its ingredients. I bought light/medium colour which was suitable for my natural skin tone.
Almay CC cream has thick creamy texture which is easy to apply. It is fragrance free and also suitable for sensitive skin types. You need little more than your normal foundation to cover entire face. It is very easy to blend , do not dry quickly and give light to medium coverage. It also covered my light blemishes, redness, light acne spots, blue veins and even dark circles(not very dark) around my eyes.  As I did not need too much coverage so this cream made my face flaw less and gave me natural looking skin with healthy glow. It also has very good lasting ability as it lasted more than 7 hours on my face. I am so happy with its result as I always find that most of the foundation make my face artificial but this cream gives natural face.
As I have tried 5 different bb cream, I must say that this Almay cc cream is better than BB creams. This CC cream is between foundation and BB cream, it is lighter than foundation but heavier than BB cream.
I highly recommend it for every one, as I have dry skin I applied it after using moisturiser, so for  dry, combination, normal, sensitive and mature skin this cc cream will work nicely, but I am not sure about its efficiency on oily and acne prone skin.
(Note: I have claimed cash back of this products during its promotional period, I have received it, but I am honest to my readers and this promotion does not affect my opinion)

Nivea In Shower Rich Body Lotion

Nivea In Shower Rich Body Lotion

Price: 8$ from pharmacies and supermarkets

I always suffer from dry skin and do not have much time to moisturise my body. I was so excited, when this lotion advertise, I thought this lotion would  be suitable for me.

It has nice easy to use packing. The lotion has pleasant smell thick consistency, like rich lotion which is easy to apply (as runny easily fall out upon application). It applied smoothly on my body and also rinsed off easily leaving my skin soft and hydrated. I did not feel any sticky feeling on my skin after using it as some people experienced, may be it depend on your skin type. For me it is perfect body lotion and must have product. Even after one or two days after using this body lotion my skin still felt hydrated and soft . I am very happy with this product and used on my two years old daughter when she had dry skin. Her skin was also felt soft and hydrated even dryness had gone.

The only negative of this product is that it make your bath slippery so be care full when you use this lotion (specially pregnant women). I bought it when Coles had 50% off on it, but now I regret why I pick only one bottle.
I highly recommend this lotion for every one specially those who have dry or very dry skin.

This is my first post about empties:) I have finished some product and used few sample last month. Some of these products are my favourites and I have reviewed most of them.

My Empties
Colgate Optic white: I have used this toothpaste for few weeks and really like it, I will repurchase it
Beauty Works Mascara: Got it in Woolworths beauty works Christmas pack last year. It was a good mascara considering its price but was available only for limited time period.
L'oreal Infallible Powder: I love this powder but due to its bad packing, I will not repurchase it.
Garnier Pure 3 in 1 Wash: A well formulated gentle scrub suitable for sensitive skin types, I already have backup of this product.
Lacura Revitalise  Night Cream with Soy: A rich moisturiser but did not like it much will not repurchase.
John Frieda Full repair Shampoo (Sample): It really gives volume to my hair, I like this sample, may be purchase it.
Deramalex cortisone free Eczema Treatment (Sample): Very effective Eczema treatment, I will purchase its full size tube.
Lanolips101 Ointment (Sample): My cracked chipped lips are healed by this ointment but its is a bit expensive (considering its uses and size), may be purchase it. I am also thinking of buying Elizabeth Arden Eight hours cream, as I have read on some blogs that it is similar to Lanolips and also contain more product.
Kosmea Samples: I really love all these samples but my local pharmacies do not stock Kosmea. May be I will purchase some Kosmea products online.
After taking photos, I am throwing all these things, as I kept them in my drawer for so many days( just to get photos). I hope you like my empties, What you have finished last month? love to hear about your empties

Models Prefer Lipstick Review

 Price: 9.95$ only at Priceline

Shades:         Paparazzi Pink,      Stay Out Late,          After Party

                                                                Swatches in artificial light
I bought these lipsticks when they were packed in "beauty to go" gift sets. I was not expecting much from this because of its low price, but I was wrong. The lipstick comes in nice strong packing (not in cheap plastic packing) which looks so glamorous. It has fruity sweet smell which is not so overpowering. It is highly pigmented, creamy moisturising lipstick and glides on my lips smoothly. I have three shades and I noticed that all available shades are suitable for all skin tones as it is always difficult to find good shades for medium skin tones.

The lipstick looked so beautiful on my lips, did not settles into lines  and did not make them dry. It also has decent staying power as it does not claim to be long lasting but this lipstick long for more than 4 hours on my lips and also leave pretty even stain after disappearing. I really love this lipstick and highly recommend buying it.  The only problem with thses ones are in their formula which melts in hot weather.

Overall, These lipsticks are great and ideal for those who are not living in very hot weather. They are also suitable for all skin tones.

Neutrogena T.gel Therapeutic Shampoo

Neutrogena T.gel Therapeutic Shampoo
Price: 12.49$
Available: at Priceline, Chemist warehouse, supermarkets and selected pharmacies
I bought it after the consultation of pharmacist because I had very bad dry flaky scalp. It comes in transparent plastic bottle with cap. It has very strong smell which is very unpleasant and overpowering. It does not leather well and on the bottle I did not find instruction of use, and I do not know after how long I should rinse it from my hair. It just stated that rinse after few minutes which is quite confusing because it is a medicated shampoo, it should be clearly stated the amount of time. I used it regularly but not impressed with the result, it just make a very little difference in my scalp, overall after finishing one bottle I still had dandruff and itchy flaky scalp. Then I consulted my GP and he recommend an other shampoo for me. I do not recommend it for those who have very serious problem of dandruff and have sensitive scalp
I think this shampoo is Ideal for those who have mild dandruff it will protect them from serious scalp problems but once you have developed severe dandruff, you should look for some other medicated shampoo

L'oreal Paris Nutri lift Gold Anti Aging Serum Foundation in Golden Beige

L'oreal Paris Nutri lift Gold Anti Aging Serum Foundation

Available: Priceline, big W, Target, selected pharmacies and supermarkets
Foundation in "Golden Beige"

                                                                          Swatch in natural light
Loreal Nutrilift foundation (Golden Beige) & Maybelline liquid mouse foundation (Sandy Beige)
"Both Shades are exactly same upon application but loreal looks lighter in its bottle"
This foundation comes in transparent glass bottle with a pump, its packing is quite heavy while only contain 25ml product less than normal foundations. The pumps looks so cheap when I used it and looks like made with very thin plastic. This foundation is sold at such a high price but its packing is just like normal 10$ foundation's packing, while some other cheap brands foundation(Maybelline, Almay etc) have batter quality packing.

I bought this foundation in golden beige and I noticed that this foundation looks lighter in its glass bottle(because of thick glass) but the shade is dark on application. The foundation is fragrance free which is very good for sensitive skin types. It is liquid foundation and you need little more than normal foundation to cover entire face. It is very easy to blend and does not dry quickly. It looks very natural on my face, it has light to medium coverage but does not cover acne or acne marks. It did not highlight my pores but made my dry patches more noticeable so next time I applied it after using rich moisturiser. The foundation looked beautiful on my face, did not cause me break out and did not oxidize. It has very good staying power and lasted on my face for long period of time

I must say that in term of application and looks, this is normal good foundation like other loreal or Maybelline foundations, not an extraordinary one, but it has some skin beneficial ingredient which makes skin healthy and glowing. I was expecting a bit more from it , because of such a high price. (I bought it when it was on sale for 24$ and I have 10$off Priceline voucher)

I feel that this foundation is not for those who have acne problems and blemishes because it does not cover them well. I still prefer to use my normal Maybelline dream liquid mouse foundation than that one.
I highly recommend using moisturiser under this for dry skin beauties. Not recommended for acne or blemish prone skin, but I think that this is ideal for mature skin because of its skin beneficial ingredients.
